This Song Speaks to My Soul
Lately I love music that speaks to my soul. You know those songs that you secretly listen to over and over again and then when other people are also listening you wish you could just start it over everytime it ends? But you feel a little bit bad making them listen over and over again so you go to the next song, which you may not enjoy as much because the whole time you're thinking "I wish I were listening the the first song again . . . and again. Those kinds of songs speak to my soul. I came to love the phrase "this speaks to my soul" while I was in Boston with Val, (which was an entire trip that was speaking to my soul by the way) and its my new favorite way to define music. In fact I can't wait for the next time someones asks me what kind of music I like because I will promptly reply "the kind that speaks to my soul!"
