2 weeks ago I moved here, and it feels like over a month . . but in a good way :)
Here's my daily schedule. Every day. Eat, go to practice, eat, sleep, go to practice, eat, go to bed. Repeat. Repeat. Oh and then repeat.
The water here is . . . well to put it nicely, it tastes like the pipe is in your mouth
Make that an old pipe
My roommates are way cool, high standards and what not
For the first couple days our shower wouldn't get hot. Unless you were patient and let it run for like 20 minutes to warm up.
One day while practicing my patience and letting the shower warm up I let it go for quite a while. Turns out I'm a big dumb and the drain was closed. Yup came into the bathroom to find a giant puddle on the ground and seeping under the door. . . awesome . . . now its a team joke to not "pull an Ellen" and overflow the tub.
We have our own washer and dryer in our apartment.
But the Freshmen have to do the team laundry
I've officially adjusted to the sicky water, only occasionally do I make that face that says "what died in this?"
I have blisters on almost every toe. Crossin my fingers for those pinky toes to stay fresh
My new cleats have broken in nicely, 13 practices in 7 days will do that. Thank you ISU for getting me those $150 shoes for o somewhere around . . nothing. free-99 we call it :)
I don't stay up late anymore, sleep is too precious.
Trips to Walmart have gotten a whole lot more exciting.
The wrath of my bath tub accident is over, today a girl locked her keys in her car while we were at Walgreens. And - the car was running.
Today we got our free running shoes. Thank you Nike.
I'm thinking about drinking Soymilk. Still keepin the regular milk too, but bring on the soy!
The toilet in the other Freshmen apartment got clogged. Don't worry I handled it for them.
Our first game is on Wednesday! - and then another one on Friday! . . . pray for me :)
I really do love it here. And I truly do know that this is where the Lord needs/wants me to be. It's such a great happy medium because there is so much opportunity for good and even missionary work really. But conveniently at the same time it's still a strong LDS population and like 5 out of the 8 freshman are LDS and there are some upper classmen who are so strong and such good examples. I feel so so so so blessed and I'm so excited to be here! Not gonna lie I miss home sometimes, and oh what I would give for a good game of ultimate! But truly the highs out weigh the lows 100 to 1. Everything happens for a reason, and there's a lot to learn from every situation. So lets go out and conquer it!

Wow theres been a lot of changing! Maybe when I come visit we can go to Walmart for your little thrill instead of aeropostale or american eagle. Miss you!
Sounds like you are super busy. We miss having you around and are really excited to see your game on Friday!
Ellen that blog truly inspired me!!! Thank you so much! I have been getting sad and nervous as I've thought of not only my last week in SLC, but then actually moving to Provo and starting all over! If you can do it so can I! :)
