On the road again . . . NOT!

Alright, so this weekend it's back to home sweet home, Pocatello.  This will be my first weekend at home in literally a month!! Crazy I know, so many road games.

Weekend #1
The first weekend I was actually home for a little bit, but then on Saturday I decided "Hey why don't I go to Logan tonight?" So i did.  Went and surprised my girls, Brooke and Abbey, thanks to Chelsie's help surprising them :) Gotta be the funnest thing ever.  I just walked right into their room so casual and was like "Hey Ab how ya doin?"  Ya I've never seen anyone stare with their jaw dropped for so long.  Then she of course was freaking out, lots of "what are you doing here!"  I hadn't seen Abbey since she left for New York so lets be honest it was kind of a big deal.
Weekend #2 - First road trip
We had a couple of games in Colorado
Luckily one of those games was at Air Force, so I got to see the one and only Ryan Martelly.
Pretty much the coolest guy ever.  Lovin that big brother :)
Coming home from Colorado who do we run into at the SLC Airport? Utah State!  Greatest surprise when we're sitting there waiting for baggage and down the elevator comes Shantel and everyone.  Gotta love seeing a familiar face.  Shantel is one of my greatest friends in the world! We played club together and I miss her to death.

Weekend #3 - Forever long bus trip to Moscow ID

So on the 11+ hour trip to Moscow there was this insane wreck!  Like traffic was literally stopped for miles and we got out and walked all over the place for like an hour.
This is our excitement when they finally opened up a lane :)
Our keeper, my roommate Bailey got her face sliced open with someone's cleat.
Ya I know, she's pretty hard core.
So we got back from Moscow at 3:30 in the morning Sunday night, don't worry I didn't have class at 8 . . . NOT!  But ya we would sleep wherever we could find a space.  You'd be surprised how comfortable the floor of a bus can be.

Weekend #4 - Good ol Utah

Rep it all day

We played UVU and BYU and it was SO good to be in Utah again!  Driving in was the greatest thing ever, I was loving the mountains.  They're huge by the way if you haven't noticed.

So good to be in familiar surroundings again.  And of course even better to be with family and friends!
Mac and I.  As you can see she plays for BYU.  Loved getting to see her, pretty much tackled her after the game.  That whole run at each other throw your bag thing, ya that was us.  So happy :)
We've played club together for years and just have always been really close friends.
Another club teammate plays for BYU, she missed the photo op but I just love that girl! She played so well too, 3 avalanche players in that game - guess how many started?  O lemme think, hmm uh o ya 3!
Gotta love the family support :) It was so fun to have all my family there.  LOVE LOVE LOVED it!  And thats the biggest understatement ever.

Parker was showing some serious ISU support.

Loved seeing my grandparents!  The Mittons came and watched, and the Larsens watched it on TV.  Visiting Grandma Larsen was as always one of my favorite things.
My brothers are THE coolest. Ever. Like really I can't say enough about how incredible they really are.  They've been such a huge support to me while I've been at school.  Talking with them has always been so helpful and is just one of my favorite things to do.  They always have encouragement or the perfect scripture for me to read or just help me keep the right perspective.  Like I always say, it's gonna be hard to find a husband because he has to be as cool as these guys!
How could I leave out the unofficial brother?  Adam is seriously one of the greatest friends I have ever been blessed with.  Incredibly genuine and always there to talk.  Love the kid :) Not to mention that he's totally tight with my fam lol just love it.
Oh the parentals.  SO needed!  More than ever.  My mom is coming up tomorrow and I can't wait.  But really though without them I probably would've gone home already.  This weekend was actually a really cool experience because after thursday I was not doin so well, struggling with some stuff.  So my parents being the amazing people they are came down to Provo when I had some free time Friday just so my Dad could give me a blessing.  How amazing is that?  I'm so blessed to have a father that can utilize the power of God.  Plus it was just good to see them!

Alright so after the game and chillin with the fam came the slumber!!! happiness happiness happiness.  Me, Brooke, Abbey and Chelsie all stayed at Christie and Lindsay's apartment.  Bueno choice.  We literally had been planning this for months.  So good to reunite.  We just chilled, talked, listened to all of Abbey and Brookes crazy stories (and dreams) and I donno just being together is the greatest.  These girls are my greatest friends in the world.  They know the real deal me.  Being away and meeting people has made me realize even more that these kind of friendships are so rare, and special.  Almost sisters is an understatement.

As usual Christie and Chelsie were out real quick.  And as usual Linds and I weren't gone til all hours of the night. Brooke joined us this time though, gotta love it.
I had my first BYU ward experience.  No offense cougar fans, but it was a little entertaining.

To top it all off when Linds brought me home to Murray we first stopped by the rock :)

Ok so my computer is lame and won't let this video be in order, but this is the insane traffic jam on the way to Moscow.
