MASQUERADE!!!

So one of my best friends Brooke and I love to do crazy stuff, mostly just pull off awesome events/parties that seem impossible but somehow it all just works out for us amazingly well. Having in mind this odd supernatural ability we sometimes possess, we set out to throw ourselves a Masquerade. Basically we'd been planning on doing this ever since our Backyard Dance was such a hit last summer. What it is is just that - a dance, we had this one in Chelsie's backyard out on the sport court, awesome lights everywhere that gave that little touch of homemade elegance. Plus a great DJ, even better is that he was free! One of our friends has a small DJ business so that works out perfectly. Throw in some free food from a bakery and you've got the makings for a great night! But to top it all off in this case it was a formal event! Lets be honest girls love to get dressed up and we all have these Prom dresses and what not that we're never going to wear again, so we thought 'lets have one last awesome chance to wear this stuff!' And it turned out that everyone really dressed up! And wore masks! Because I mean what's a Masquerade with no mask? (but alas it did get a little hot so the masks had to go).



Let's just say it was a hit. And yea you're seeing one of those pictures right, even David Archuletta showed up! We actually had no idea he would be there, just showed up with friends. It was so great to see him back in his normal element having fun with his friends, it was like he had never left.

It was just a fun night full of great memories, a great way to cap off the whole high school experience. As you can see I've been blessed with the greatest friends in world!
